Captured By Angie offers car photography in the Sacramento region through a dedicated automotive photographer on the team, separate from Angie's portrait and family sessions. A car photo session runs 60 to 90 minutes at one or two nearby locations, such as the top level of a parking structure, a quiet industrial street, a Delta levee road or a foothill pullout, and is timed for golden hour or the half hour after sunset so reflections stay soft and the paint color reads true. Deliverables are 25 to 40 individually edited images in a private online gallery within 1 to 2 weeks. Listing and business shoots for private sellers, rental hosts, detail and wrap shops and small dealers are quoted per vehicle with a consistent set of angles. Car photography is shot by the automotive photographer on the Captured By Angie team. Angie continues to photograph the graduation, family, engagement, wedding, portrait, event and sports sessions. Send a car inquiry through the same form or phone number, and we connect you with the automotive photographer to plan the shoot.
Common choices are the top level of a parking structure, a quiet industrial street early on a weekend morning, a Delta levee road, or a foothill pullout toward Folsom, Auburn or Placerville. The right spot depends on the car's style and how much open pavement it needs. Some private lots and garages require permission, so the location is confirmed before the shoot date.
Wash and detail it a day or two before, clean the wheels and tires, and clear personal items out of the cabin and trunk. Bring a microfiber towel for dust that settles on the drive over. If the car is modified, send a short list of the parts and details you want featured so they get their own frames.
Rolling shots need a second car, a second driver and a quiet stretch of road, so they are planned case by case. Mention them in your inquiry and we will tell you whether your route and date can work safely. Static shoots, with the car parked between setups, are the default.
